We went to 2 different Champagne houses. The first was small but welcoming. Our tour guide was passionate & knowledgeable. We learned about the family history, the champagne making process & had 3 courses paired w 3 different champagnes. Taught how to taste it, and appreciate the differences of the Champagnes. Many of us bought cases of wine to be shipped home.
The second Champagne house was in a beautiful setting. However, even though it was a nice and more modern, owned by 2 women, the welcome was not as warm, the tour guide “Tom” was not as passionate, the wine seemed not as good.
We compared our experiences from a marketing point of view. It became so obvious That putting your passion & your whole life into your work And being able to express it, makes all the difference.
